I dont think there is any difference as long as you schedule ASAP with the date you want, just as BBB has specified. I got my first interview call in September and I scheduled it for December. The rule of thumb generally is for programs that offer a prematch AND you would be willing to take up if offered you interview asap. For programs that dont offer pre matches you interview in the middle or towards the end. However as many people will attest, what matters is your performance on the day of the interview, not what day your interview was held. Good Luck!
